Wednesday Change....if you want

Okay so I am soooo wanting to go the the Botanical Gardens this week.  I am loving the trees right now and I think it would be a perfect time to go.  So all those who are interested and would like to join in on the fun.  I plan to leave my house about 9:30, so I should be there about 10.  Comment below if you plan to join so I'll wait for you, and if you can't be there at ten, but still want to come, please do, I'm sure we'll be there till 12 or 1 or maybe even 2 depending on the kidos.

Music Makers needs your help

The New Box is almost ready! And for those who have voiced concern, this one will not be lost. We have labeled it and put our contact info on it just in case some one has any questions.

The new box will have a ton of props to use and a list of songs that we have props for. Also, we have fun instruments for the kids, and fun props to use for dancing and other games.

We've put a lot of time, money and effort into getting things ready. But we still need your help. I would like to purchase the "Brite Music" CD for the box. And have some supplies for props also available for use (like polycyclic sticks, laminate, tape, card stock, etc....)

We'd like to ask for a donation of your time and talents for music props, home made instruments or what ever you can dream of making to make this a success. If you would like to donate a few dollars to go toward the CD that would also be greatly appreciated.

Music makers is a great way to bond with our children, it also helps to develop a love of music and develop self confidence. Also, it help us as mothers to learn and grow.

On another note: I would like to say that there is no set way to lead each category. If you want to take it in a completely different direction. Do it! If it's a success other moms will repeat it. That is what I love most about Music Makers. It continues to grow and adapt to our ever changing group! You moms are awesome and it has been a privilege to be a part of this with you all!

Park Day/Temple Cleaning

Hi Moms!!!  I'm sure some of you have already heard that they are in need of sisters to help clean the temple Tuesday (TOMORROW) and that you need to be there at 9:30.  I know for myself that I would be willing to help, but I don't have anyone to watch my kids!  So here is my idea and let me know what you think.  Tomorrow is our park day, what if rather than going to Latamire Park we went to Shelby Farms, which is only about 15 min from the temple, and we meet there at 9:10.  Then part of the Moms could stay and play with the kids and part of them could go help clean the temple.  I've been told that with 5 people the temple cleaning takes 2 hours and right now only 3 sisters have committed to go.  So the more Mom's that come the more we could send to help clean the temple and with enough sisters it would only take an hour.  Any way, comment if you are willing to go up and do park day at Shelby Farms, and then depending on how many comment we can see how may we can send to clean the temple.  I know Sister Wiess needs number soon, so spread the word and comment as soon as possible!
