How to make a Link

I wanted to give some instructions on how to make this feed work. This how I (Luna) do it. Just like anything else, I am sure there are other ways, this is just how I do it. If you know another way and want to do it that way... Great! Share you method if you want.

OK:
1 Write your post for the main blog.
2 Publish Post
3 On the page that loads after you publish you have the option to View Post, do it.
4 Copy the address of the post up in the navigation bar.
5 Now open the feed blog (the one you are reading right now)
6 Write the feed post with brief (1-2 sentence) teaser. Try not to give detailed info, just to make sure we keep things private
7 Highlight a few words from the post or write the work "link" or "here" at the bottom. Or you can just paste the address you copied in Step 4 and highlight it.
8 Then press Link It is right next to the "insert picture "symbol up above on the editing bar of the posting box. If you can't find it, let me know, or ask around.  Sometimes it says the word "link" Sometimes it looks like a little link of chain and sometimes it looks like a link of chain on top of a tiny globe.
9 A window will pop-up titled "Edit Link"
10 The radio button "Web Address" should be selected.
If you highlighted words, they should be in the box at the top "Text to display."
You need to paste the address from Step 4 into the box next to "Web Address"
If you highlighted the web address you copied in step 4 and pasted in step 7, the address should already be inserted into the box by "Web Address"
11 Now publish your post

I like to view the new post and make sure the link works. But that is just me doubting myself and then being pleased when everything works. Sometimes it is the little joys that make life fun!
